illani has been built from robust, durable, and sustainable materials. Our design comes in two styles, STUDIO, for the static workstation, and MOVE, a more portable design for use on the go.

Designed to hold a variety of devices, illani STUDIO and MOVE are equipped with a non-slip surface that provides room for palm rests, your phone, pens and other accessories, so you can multi-task without losing focus.

illani provides good desk hygiene by supporting your personal ergonomics. The height adjustable settings allow you to angle your tablet for optimal body position, taking the pressure off your neck, back, wrists and eyes.

The illani STUDIO and MOVE are hand assembled in Australia, so there’s no hidden fees waiting at the checkout. We’ve avoided expensive freight costs, so you won’t have to abandon cart.

Both STUDIO and MOVE are made from durable pine plywood, strong enough to support your body position and rest your wrists upon, easy enough to move and adjust when needed.

Our Story
Like most inventions, illani was developed to address a problem.
Designed and developed by a working illustrator, Jimmy Patch, illani was inspired by an unsuccessful search for illustration equipment.
This highlighted a need for a tablet support that provided strength, comfort and versatility.
After many trials, product tests and prototypes, illani was created; a timber workstation that provides a durable, functional and affordable workstation for all who want to create and design digitally.
Since 2022, we’ve brought two minimum viable products to market, and whilst the illani Original and Timber models are now discontinued, we are excited to announce the launch of our Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign set to go live on March 26, 2024. The success of this campaign will see the release of our latest iteration and more refined design - the illani 2.0.
